The summer started earlier than usual. In June, people enjoy the sound of cicadas at noon and buzz of higurashi(*) in the evening.

Here, located on the border of the XX prefecture, is the Hanamizawa Village, whose popularion is less than 2,000. However, "it" repeats every year.

Every year, on the same day of June, one person dies and one person disappears. It is a chain of death that can be tracked back to a conflict related to a big dam construction plan. The incident that took place in the middle of Showa returns.

Is it a plot? An accident? ...Or a curse? The person whofs supposed to be there doesnft exist.
The person who shouldn't be there does exit.
The person whom you met last night doesnft exit.

The person who is there is not alive.

Is the tragedy inevitable? Can you do nothing but succumb to it? However, do not submit yourself to the tragedy. Because only you can face it.



(*)The higurashi is a kind of cicada. It's called Higurashi because it begins to buzz when it gets dark. It appears earlier than other cicada, and begins to buzz in June.
